From Lusiksiki.
Travel 40 km to Port St Johns. A few meters before the Pondoland Bridge, turn left down the sign posted road “Poenskop, Ferry Point and travel about 6.5km to the entrance of Kingfisher Cottages on your left.

From Mthatha
Take the R61 to Port St Johns.  About 4km before Port St Johns, turn left at the sign to Lusikisiki. Cross the Umzimvubu River and turn immediate right onto Ferry Point Poenskop Road and travel about 6.5km to the entrance of Kingfisher Cottages on your left.

Kingfisher Cottage
Situated a few meters from Long Beach at Agate Terrace
you will find Kingfisher Cottages nestled in a lush garden.

There are two fully self contained cottages.

A bedroom with aview
The first cottage has 2 bedrooms, both with a double bed and bunk beds.

A sleeper couch and a single bed in the lounge can sleep three more people.

The kitchen is equipped with a fridge freezer, a box freezer and a beer fridge. It has a gas stove and a microwave.

One bathroom has a bath and the second bathroom has a shower. 

A sliding door from the lounge opens onto the deck overlooking the beautiful garden and the sea. Enjoy sitting out here on a summer evening gazing at the stars or relax having a sundowner.

The second cottage has an open plan kitchen lounge area with a sleeper couch that can separate into two single beds.

The main bedroom has a double bed and the second room has two single beds.

There is a single bathroom with a shower in this cottage.

The kitchen has a fridge freezer, box freezer, microwave and a gas stove.

The lounge sliding door opens onto a patio overlooking the garden and sea.

Both cottages have a television set with a DSTV dish. Please bring your own decoder.
Portable braai’s are supplied.
Please bring your own bath and beach towels.

 There is good fishing to be done in Port St Johns, at Poenskop, First Beach and Second Beach or in the Umzimvubu River. Or you can challenge the quaint 9 hole golf course in town.
There are numerous establishments where one can enjoy a hearty meal.
Visit Silaka Nature Reserve and see zebra, wildebeest and monkeys up close. Fish there as well.
